ELLE (she/they) is a creative practitioner and one half of Tell’d, a creative heritage project based in Lincolnshire.
The family duo behind Tell'd produce a regular arts and memoir periodical and have a hand in various Lincolnshire based heritage projects. Their most recent work was the Heritage Fund and Arts Council England funded Tell’d: Histories and Dreams Project, focusing on archiving queer and trans stories in the North East of Lincolnshire, culminating in a special edition publication and documentary film. Archival work is at the centre of Tell’d, with a focus on platforming LGBTQ+ creatives and documenting ignored or forgotten stories in a large rural county.
Elle has featured on panels, radio and podcasts discussing creative arts, heritage and cultural practice. She is a writer of non-fiction, prose and poetry and a UEA creative writing graduate, whose work centres rural communities, identity and autobiographical practice.
