LINFORD (he/him) is a vocalist, songwriter, and performer best known as the frontman of the stylish alt-synth pop group VOYA. 

Under his creative direction, VOYA has been selected by Walt Disco to support them at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff, a celebrated premiere at The Great Escape 2023 with two showcases, a debut at the Green Man Festival Settlers Stage, and a headline performance at the International Queer Film Festival: IRIS Prize. VOYA has been recognised as “one of the best emerging acts of 2024” at the Triskell Award at the Welsh Music Prize.

Linford trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, bringing a strong theatrical sensibility to his work. His combination of stagecraft, dramatic understanding, and a vocal style that is both classically trained and soulfully expressive, lies at the heart of VOYA’s magnetic live shows and growing acclaim.

Linford is a rising presence in the Ballroom Vogueing UK scene, active since 2021 and representing the Elite Kiki House of Bodega. Specialising in European Runway, Linford has walked across the UK and Europe, including appearances in the main Ballroom scene, in Athens, and walking at London Fashion Week 2023.
