MICHAEL (he/him) is a Tanzanian-Scottish photographer and visual storyteller.
With a mixed heritage and an upbringing influenced by both conservation and tradition, Michael's practice reflects a lifelong relationship with nature and a desire to tell meaningful stories through images.In 2025, he released his first limited-edition photography book and held his debut exhibition. That same year, he was awarded a printing residency and has since become a darkroom printer, producing his own hand-printed works. His current focus lies in documenting Tanzania’s tribes and wildlife, while his great love for the outdoors continues to draw him to collaborations with outdoor and nature-driven brands.
