SEYE (HE/HIM) IS A NIGERIAN-BORN MUSICIAN, GROWING UP IN THE NETHERLANDS, ECUADOR, AND PRIMARILY LONDON WHO PLAYS BASS WITH THE BAND, GORILLAZ.

Seye has always been surrounded by a mix of cultures and influences. These days Seye resides in Hackney, where he is known as the bassist for the iconic band Gorillaz. He also spends his time writing, producing, and composing his own music. Music is at the heart of everything Seye does. When Seye is off the road, he loves cooking and adding to his ever-growing collection of hats, rings, and guitars.

Seye is six and a half years sober, this journey has shaped his music and outlook on life. His mantra is “Life is a team sport” because nothing meaningful really happens in a vacuum.
