CHLOE (she/her) is an artist, performer, poet and writer working with and in her lived experiences Nigerian Yoruba and Eshan heritage.
Chloe examines the broader themes of identity and power structures, and her work is about going on artistic journeys with play, movement and vocal expression. Using poetry and embodied dance performance, Chloe channels myth, memory, and personal cosmology into presence. She doesn't just perform - she conjures. Her body becomes archive, her voice becomes invocation, her words fracture silence and stitch new imaginaries.
Chloe has performed her piece ‘Come in & out the waves, Come with me in and the sea' at Somerset House. ‘There’s transsexuals of midnight’, poetics soundscape at VSSL Studio, ‘Atlantic Cruise’ with Ebun at Arebyte,‘Sounds 4 Survival’ a group performance at Cafe Oto and ‘Water in a Heatwave’ Miles Greenberg at Southbank Queen Elizabeth Hall, to name a few.
